The Nordic Stroke Society Travel Grants
The Nordic Stroke Society offers 6 Young Scientist Travel Grants to health professionals working in the area of cerebrovascular disease. The purpose of the Nordic Stroke Society Travel Grants is to stimulate stroke research and management by supporting young scientists to participation in the Nordic Stroke Society's congress. Scandinavian and Baltic citizens or permanent residents can apply for the travel grants.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Nordic Stroke Society Travel Grant, the applicant must be:
- less than 40 years of age
- have submitted an abstract for the Nordic Stroke Society's congress as first author
The 6 travel grants will be given to 2 nurses, 2 physiotherapists, and 2 doctors.
Selection:
The recipient of the Nordic Stroke Society Travel Grant will be selected by the Nordic Stroke Society's Board Members. All applications will be considered competitively ensuring high scientific value and a broad representation from Scandinavian and Baltic countries.
Description of grant:
The Nordic Stroke Society Travel Grant covers the participation fee and two night accommodation during the congress.

The Nordic Stroke Poster/Oral presentation award
There will be a prize of 500 Euro for the best poster/oral presentation at the Nordic Stroke Congress.
